The brief

Doctors’ Association UK needed a public site and member platform capable of carrying several jobs at once: explain its doctor-led campaigning work, make impact and news easy to follow, and support distinct joining routes for students, GMC-registered doctors and associate members. The replacement also had to move a busy organisation away from a legacy platform without losing the content and workflows its volunteers depend on.

The work

Fyllio designed a custom WordPress experience around DAUK’s real operating model. Public content is structured across impact, campaigns, news, events and resources, while the membership journey handles tiered access, recurring subscriptions, account access and renewals. The design gives current campaigns and evidence of impact prominence without crowding out the practical join, login and media routes. Accessibility controls, consent-aware analytics, privacy information and responsive layouts were treated as core platform behaviour.

The result

The live platform now gives a 700+ member organisation one place to publish fast-moving NHS advocacy, show policy impact and manage three clear membership routes. Visitors can move from the organisation’s purpose to campaigns, news, events or membership without crossing between disconnected systems, while DAUK’s team retains a WordPress editing workflow for day-to-day publishing.
