The brief
Ward&Westminster needed a publishing home for long-form analysis across medicine, technology and politics. The central design problem was not simply displaying posts; it was making serious essays comfortable to read while giving a growing archive enough structure to remain useful.
The work
Fyllio built a focused editorial system around typography and navigation. Articles carry topic, author, publication date and reading time, with dedicated routes for the archive, topics, series and search. Dark mode, RSS, reading-progress behaviour and responsive article layouts support different reading habits without distracting from the writing. The homepage balances one lead essay with a concise view of recent work, while category and series structures create room for the publication to grow.
The result
The finished publication gives each essay a calm, credible reading environment and makes the relationship between medicine, technology and politics visible from the first screen. Readers can discover work by recency, topic or series, search the archive, subscribe by RSS and choose a light or dark reading mode.
